BIBBA is the Bee Improvement and Bee Breeders’ Association first founded over half a century ago in 1964, under the title of the Village Bee Breeders’ Association. Few remain among us who are unaware of bees’ importance to the environment, and more specifically, have not heard of the planets’ imperative need to protect its bees. It’s therefore pretty clear that BIBBA’s work is crucial, and anything that can help its members to work and communicate cohesively is really valuable not just for BIBBA, not just for bees, but for the well-being of the world – if we do say so ourselves. After looking at how NAMDET put WHYPAY? to such great use, we talked to Nick Mawby of BIBBA to hear how teleconferencing helped them.

5G networks on their way – but what can we expect?
Admin 17th April 2018The country’s leading mobile providers just bid in an auction to secure bandwidth in what will be part of the UK’s new 5G mobile network. But how will the souped-up network be different from the 3G/4G connections we’re all used to relying on? Will we even notice it?
Since late March, Ofcom have been auctioning off new bandwidths to key players in the industry, with Vodaphone, O2, EE, and Three all spending a total of £1.4 billion in order to stay ahead of the game and eventually provide customers with next-generation mobile internet services.

In today’s fast-paced, rough and ready world, do we still care about how we treat one another? Do feelings have any place in the professional world, or should we be shifting our attentions and budgets away from customer services in favour of delivering quantifiable results?
It’s understandable that some companies might consider the latter the most logical approach. Wouldn’t people prefer to quickly receive the product or service than be treated courteously while they wait? Actually, no. And this is a mistake which can have seriously damaging results.
